Founder & CEO, Hōtuh

Multidisciplinary artist and founder from Austin, Texas. Exploring design, human behavior, and wellness.

Why Hōtuh Began

“There was a season of my life when I felt overwhelmed by the idea that my value was tied to my productivity. It felt like life had become something to endure today in the hope of enjoying it tomorrow.

For a while, I found myself longing for something surprisingly simple. A place where I could just exist. Where there was no pressure to do more, achieve more, or become more.

A place that combined the beauty of art, wellness, land, and community. Where I could let go, and sit with the belief and feeling that just being was enough. And I wanted others to feel that too.

So I began imagining what a place like that would look and feel like. That idea kept growing until it could no longer live only in my imagination....

One day, I realized I wasn't simply imagining Hōtuh anymore. I was responsible for it. So I decided to begin building.”

The Human Behind the Vision

A Different Way of Seeing

Alexandria has always been fascinated by how people experience the world around them. That curiosity has led her through design, psychology, art, and countless observations of human behavior. Different paths, but the same question: How do environments shape the way we feel? Hōtuh is her attempt to keep exploring that question.

Building Hōtuh

Every decision begins with one question: How will someone feel here? Alexandria has always believed the best spaces are the ones where people feel seen, heard, and comfortable being themselves. That belief has become the foundation of Hōtuh.

She didn't set out to build a wellness sanctuary. She set out to build the place she had been searching for. Her hope is that one day, it becomes a place you've been searching for too.
